Who we are

Preport is a service that generates pre-meeting briefing reports. It connects to your calendar, identifies upcoming prospect meetings, researches the people and companies involved, and combines that research with materials you upload to produce a briefing before each meeting. This policy explains what data we collect to do that, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

  • Account information your name, email address, role title, company name, and website, provided when you sign up and during onboarding.
  • Calendar event metadata event titles, times, descriptions, and attendee names and email addresses from the calendar you connect. We access your calendar on a read-only basis.
  • Uploaded business materials sales decks, one-pagers, and other documents you choose to upload, plus text extracted from them.
  • Company profile data the structured profile of your business (value propositions, competitors, ideal customer profile, and similar) generated during onboarding and editable by you.

Why we collect it

We use this data for one purpose: generating pre-meeting briefing reports for you. Calendar metadata tells us which meetings to prepare for and who is attending; research on attendees and their companies fills in the briefing; your materials and company profile let the report connect what you sell to who you are meeting. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Third-party processors

We rely on the following services to run Preport. Each receives only the data needed for its role:

  • Anthropic (Claude API) Meeting details, attendee research results, and relevant excerpts from your uploaded materials, used to generate briefing reports and classify meetings.
  • Apollo.io Attendee names, email addresses, and company domains, used to enrich contact and company information.
  • Serper Search queries containing attendee and company names, used to gather public web information for reports.
  • Resend Your email address and the content of your briefing report emails, used to deliver reports to your inbox.
  • Supabase All application data — your account, calendar event metadata, uploaded materials, and generated reports — stored in our database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Google Cloud Platform Hosts the Preport application. Request data passes through Google Cloud infrastructure.
  • Sentry Technical error reports (stack traces, request metadata), used to monitor and fix problems. We work to keep personal data out of error reports.
  • Jina AI / OpenAI Text excerpts from your uploaded materials, used to generate embeddings that power search over your documents.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Calendar tokens are stored encrypted and are removed when you disconnect a calendar. Uploaded materials and their extracted text are deleted when you delete them in Settings. When you delete your account, we delete your account data, materials, reports, and calendar connections; residual copies in backups are removed as backups rotate.

Your rights

You can access and edit most of your data directly in the app. You have the right to request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. To exercise any of these rights, email stevenpatrick9@outlook.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

Preport uses cookies only to keep you signed in (authentication session cookies). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, notify you by email.
