Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 July 2026

The service

Preport generates pre-meeting briefing reports. It connects to your calendar, detects upcoming prospect meetings, researches attendees and their companies using public and third-party data sources, and combines that research with materials you upload to produce a briefing delivered via the dashboard and email. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Reports are generated automatically, in part by AI, and may contain inaccuracies or outdated information. They are an aid to your own preparation, not a substitute for your judgment.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Preport only for lawful business purposes. In particular, you must not:

  • use the service to harass, stalk, or profile individuals outside a legitimate business context;
  • upload materials you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights;
  • attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' data;
  • resell, scrape, or systematically extract data from the service; or
  • use the service in a way that violates applicable data protection law in your jurisdiction.

Your content

You retain ownership of the materials you upload and the data from your calendar. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

No warranty

Preport is an early-stage service and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of report content, or uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or decisions made in reliance on report content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or £50 if you have paid nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of England and Wales.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
